To monitor the HIV/AIDS pandemic and to survey HIV/AIDS ministries at all levels of the Church.Duties:•Focus the Church’s attention on the theological, ethical and pastoral questions in the HIV/AIDS crisis•Increase HIV/AIDS awareness in our Church•Reduce the effects of stigmatization by HIV/AIDS•Continue the process of identifying those whom we are called to serve but may overlook•Identify the HIV/AIDS ministries and resources at all levels of the Church•Utilize the resources of other organizations including but not limited to the National Episcopal AIDS Coalition and ecumenical contacts•Report to the Executive Council on the Church’s response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic and respond to resolutions passed by General Convention.
